Strengthening the National Health System

Our country and the whole planet are experiencing an unprecedented health crisis. Humanity is threatened by an invisible enemy. In this war, the health system of our country is being tested and its endurance will reach its limits in the coming days. So it is time to support in force the National Health System, in order to meet the needs that will arise.

The COOPERATIVE BANK OF KARDITSA was present at all the difficult times that our place went through.

So even now, with a high sense of responsibility towards the asymmetric threat we are facing, the Bank of our place is present again. It practically supports the Health System of our Prefecture. It supports the frontline people. It provides them with supplies to fight the invisible enemy.

The Administrative Board of the COOPERATIVE BANK OF KARDITSA in a meeting held on March 30, 2020 unanimously decided to support the fight against the COVID-19 virus pandemic, proceeding with the donation of modern technological and scientific equipment, material protection of medical and nursing staff as well as disinfection of premises to the General Hospital of Karditsa, including:

Respirators

Spirometers

Face shields

Mouthpiece filters

Positive pressure set

Disinfecting materials

We consider this as a small sample of honor and repayment to the doctors, nurses and hospital staff, who are currently fighting for all of us, for the health of all of us.

We urge all the citizens to stay indoors in order to reduce the spread of the virus.
